Age-Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. Maximum age limit will not be applicable to internal applicants.

Qualifications:

9.1 For External Applicants

I. Should have passed in six (06) subjects in one sitting with 04 credit passes including

Sinhala / Tamil

Mathematics

English Language (Only if required for duties entrusted) At the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination

II. Should have passed in at least three (03) subjects (except General Common Test) at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination

III. Should have obtained a driver's training license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic

IV. Should have the knowledge in motor mechanisms and should have experience

9.2 For Internal Applicants

I. Should have passed in six (06) subjects in one sitting with 04 credit passes, including

Sinhala / Tamil

Mathematics

English Language (Only if required for duties entrusted) At the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination

II Should have obtained a driver's training license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic

III. Should have the knowledge in motor mechanisms and should have experience
