INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS – MIST Management Systems (Pvt) Ltd. – Colombo 08

Candidate Profile:

• Be 67 years of age or below at the closing date of applications.
• Hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Applicants with postgraduate qualifications and/or professional certifications or memberships are preferred.
• Should have a proven track record of experience in senior corporate-level positions in the applicant's area of expertise.
• Meet the fitness and propriety requirements specified by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, professional integrity and sound judgment in corporate decision-making.
• Be able to contribute independently to the strategic direction and governance of the bank.

Potential applicants should NOT be:

• An employee, consultant or a director of a licensed bank in Sri Lanka.
• A public servant or a government contractor.

Any applicant who has a personal or financial interest in, or a material business relationship with, the recruiting bank will not be selected to serve as an independent director.

Appointment Conditions:

• Remuneration for Independent Non-Executive Directors will be paid in accordance with Public Enterprises Circular No. 03/2015 dated 17.06.2015 and its amendments issued by the Ministry of Finance.
• Initial appointments will be for a period of 3 years.
