Key Responsibilities

• Provide Strategic leadership for all medical services across hospitals, laboratories and outreach centers.
• Strengthen clinical governance, patient safety, and quality and accreditation standards.
• Lead, engage and develop consultants and clinical teams to deliver excellent patient-centered care.
• Drive clinical performance; achieve revenue targets and continuous quality improvement.
• Champion medical education, research, innovation and professional development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and build strategic partnerships with stakeholders.
• Oversee risk management, medico-legal matters and ethical clinical practice.

The Ideal Leader

• MBBS qualification and registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) is mandatory.
• Additional qualification in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration or MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience with 5+ years in senior medical leadership.
• Proven track record in clinical governance, accreditation, patient safety and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong strategic, analytical and leadership capabilities with a passion for excellence.
