Assistant Head Driver (Dredger) – Sri Lanka Ports Authority – Kochchikade, Colombo 13

Every applicant,

1. Should be physically and mentally fit to properly carry out the duties involved with the post and to serve in any part of the island.
2. Should possess an excellent character.
3. As per the decision of the Interview Board or if it is relevant to the post, the applicant should pass the medical test.
4. This post is permanent and is entitled to the Employees' Provident Fund and Employees' Trust Fund.
5. Applicants from Government or State Corporations should forward their applications through their respective Heads of Departments / Corporations and in the event where the applicant being selected, there should be an endorsement stating that the applicant can be released from service of the Department/Corporation.

Ν.Β. As per the provisions made in the Circular issued by the Ministry of Public Administration No. 28/2016 dated 01.12.2016, and in the event where. the C.C.E. (O/L) or the C.C.E. (A/L) has been included as educational qualifications, NVQ 3 and NVQ 4 will be considered as similar to passing the G.C.E. (O/L) and G.C.E. (A/L) respectively.
Applications prepared including full bio-data, birth certificate, other relevant educational and professional qualification certificates, service certificates with photocopies and the names and addresses of two non-related referees should be sent to reach the following address on or before 17.07.2026 by Registered Post. The Sri Lanka Ports Authority will not be responsible for applications lost in post or late applications. The post applied for should be written on the top left hand corner of the envelope enclosing the application. Applications received after the closing date of applications will be rejected.
