TECHNICAL OFFICER GRADE II SEG.B – University of Colombo(UOC) – Colombo 03 Sri Lanka

 Qualifications:
(a) Three (03) G.C.E. (Advanced Level) passes in science subjects in one sitting: Subject combination(s) to be decided by the faculty concerned upon the recommendation of the Department.
AND
(b) Passed a skill oriented formal programme of training relevant to the post at least one year (full time) duration or equivalent. The acceptability of the training programme for this purpose shall be judged by the faculty concerned.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess

1. Advanced Certificate in Laboratory Technology
II. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
III. Diploma in Laboratory Technicians' Training from Institute of Chemistry
IV. Diploma in Laboratory Technology
V. NUT or similar qualifications
VI. Registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council to Practice as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
VII. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/ Biomedical Sciences
