Chartered Accountant – HEMACHANDRA GEMS & JEWELLERY – Kandy, Sri Lanka

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/FCA or ACCA UK).
• Bachelor's degree in the subject area is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting/audit experience.
• Experience in the jewellery, retail, hospitality, or the tourism sector is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Ability to handle company accounts independently.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Handle tax compliance and statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
