Potential applicants should NOT be:

• An employee, consultant or a director of a licensed bank in Sri Lanka.
• A public servant or a government contractor.

Any applicant who has a personal or financial interest in, or a material business relationship with, the recruiting bank will not be selected to serve as an independent director.

Appointment Conditions:

• Remuneration for Independent Non-Executive Directors will be paid in accordance with Public Enterprises Circular No. 03/2015 dated 17.06.2015 and its amendments issued by the Ministry of Finance.
• Initial appointments will be for a period of 3 years.
