Qualifications: A special/general degree in English Tenching English Linguistics (English medium) with/without honours

(1) Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in sex (06) subjects at one sitting with craft pusses inc

iii. Mathematics

AND

(2) Should have passed in all surjeets at G.C.E. (A/L) Examination (except the Common General paper) at one sitting
Preference will be given to those who possess the following:

(a) An secugnable qualification in computer applications of not less than sis (06) mumihs duration.

AND

(b) Two years of experience in the use of computer application packages.

AND

(3) One year exqueriance in Store-Koeping and/or a pass in the subject of Commere at the G.C.R (Ordinary Level) Txamination or in the subject of Accountancy at the G.C.F. (Advanced Level) Examination

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE APPLICABLE FOR MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT GRADE III

(STORE-KEEPING)

01. This post is permanent. The appointments will be on probation for a period of three (03) years.

02. Selected candidates if presently serving in a Government Department will have to obtain his/her micase through their respective appointing authority. Government employvus will not be amiiled to muintain their pension rights whilst in the University Service.

BENEFITS OF ABOVE POSTS

01. Selected candidatus will begin to contribute to the Universities Provident Fund by means of monthly deduction from his/her salary an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the earnings. The University will, in addition out of its funds contribute at the same time a sum equal to seven (07%) percent of his/her earnings to the Universities Provident Fund and eight (95%) percent to the Pension Fund for Temporary Assistant Lecturers, the University will contributo a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of his/her carnings to the Universities Provident Fund without separation as above).

02. Theve (03%) percent of his/her basic salary will be contributed by the Institute to the Employees

Trust Fund in terms of provisions of the Employees Trust Fund.

01. In addition to the above salary, Government approved allowances and Cost of Living Allowance approved by the University Grants Commission will also be paid to the staff where relevant.
