Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute visionary strategies to establish Sri Lanka as an emerging equity market and enhance the CSE's market position, driving sustainable growth.
• Foster strong relationships with market participants, regulatory bodies, government entities and other key stakeholders to promote collaboration and mutual success.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of governance and transparency.
• Develop a diverse and innovative product portfolio that meets evolving stakeholder needs and drives additional revenue streams.
• Position the CSE as a foremost venue for capital raising.
• Embrace technological advancements and innovative solutions to modernize trading and post trade platforms, enhance market efficiency and risk management and improve the overall investor experience.
• Establish the CSE as a high-performing entity with strong profitability and efficient capital use for sustainable growth and long-term success.
• Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized University and a professional qualification from a recognized educational institute. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
• Proven track record of executive leadership in the financial services industry, with prior exposure to capital markets, investment banking or related sectors.
• Deep understanding of global financial markets, regulatory frameworks and emerging trends.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex environments.
• Passion for driving and implementing transformative initiatives.
