Electrical Utility CAD & Modelling Officer – Lanka Electricity Company (private) limited – Colombo 03

Educational Qualifications : 

• G.C.E. (O/L) with six subjects including Sinhala/Tamil language, Mathematics and English with at least five (05) credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings. AND
• G.C.E. (A/L) with three (03) subjects in one sitting.

Professional/Technical Qualifications :

• NVQ Level 05 or National Certificate in Technology in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Experience : 

• A minimum of three (03) years of post qualification experience in CAD drafting & modelling for electrical utility or power sector projects, preferably-involving distribution network or substations.

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of Free CAD and/or Solid Works; familiarity with utility drawing standards and revision control; work to be carried out as per engineers' instructions.

Age :

below 40 years as at 03rd August 2026

• The selected candidate is appointed for a contract period of 01 year and Selection May be based on an interview and/or a practical assessment of CAD skills.
