Management Assistant – Wayamba University of Sri Lanka – University of Wayamba

Basic qualifications required for the above post shall be as follows:
1. Shall have passed 06 subjects with credit passes for four subjects including Sinhala / Tamil / English and Mathematics at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination at one sitting.
                       And
2. Shall have passed all the subjects in G.C.E. (Advanced Level) at one sitting (except the General paper). Passing three (03) subjects under the old syllabus at one sitting would be sufficient for this purpose.

General Conditions
It is compulsory to fulfill all the Basic Qualifications relevant to the post by each applicant on or before the closing date of applications.

Age Limit: Should be less than 64 years of age

Salary Scale:
The salary step applicable to the relevant position in terms of the Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 dated 28/03/2026 and relevant amendments and all the allowances approved by the Government as per the Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 dated 28/03/2026 will be paid.

Service Conditions:
Will be appointed initially for a period of one year on Contract Basis and will extend the service period annually considering the performance and the service requirement.

Other Benefits:
The Employee shall contribute 8% and the Employer will contribute 12% of the salary for the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and the Employer will contribute 3% of the salary for the Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).
