Counting Supervisor – LITRO GAS – Colombo 02, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the cylinder counting process for all incoming and outgoing distributor vehicles.
• Ensure accurate counting and reconciliation of LPG cylinders during dispatch and receipt.
• Lead and supervise the cylinder counting staff assigned to each shift.
• Verify cylinder movement records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
• Investigate and report any discrepancies, shortages, or excess cylinder counts immediately.
• Coordinate closely with Security, Filling Plant Operations & Distributor vehicle staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain proper records and submit daily cylinder movement and reconciliation reports and submit the reports to the plant manager.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational controls.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Plant Manager or Management.

Candidate Profile:

• G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in cylinder/ product counting, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, stores management, or a similar operational environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in managing operational staff will be an added advantage.
• Good numerical ability with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, in shifts, and during extended working hours when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of record keeping and basic computer applications (MS Excel and MS Word) will be an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and discipline.
• Age below 45 years.
